Ellies Eye Therapy

Our oldest daughter Ellie has been wearing glasses since she was 2 and a half years old and patched since she was three and a half years old. She was recently diagnosed with an Amblyopia in her left eye that can’t be fixed with surgery. Her brain will randomly shut off her left eye when she’s tired or when it can’t make sense of what she’s seeing. The eye therapy specialist can mostly fix it to where she be able the drive, but the therapy is considered experimental by our eye insurance and is not covered and is out of network for our medical insurance.
